Story Line -

Max Forrester, a washed up aging actor was once the toast of Hollywood, playing one of the most formidable action adventure heroes, that spawn a franchise.  He often blurred the lines between fantasy and reality, which earned him a reputation of being very difficult to work with thus ending his career.  Now, a depressed recovering alcoholic he can’t even get a bit part in a two bit film, until his agent gets him an audition for a part in the remake of one of his films.  Desperately trying to get his act together, Max does something he hasn't done since his mother died - he prays for help.  Helps comes from an unlikely source: a wise “tough as nail” little man who promises Max he'll help whip him into shape.  With everything to gain and nothing to lose, Max forms a friendship that extends beyond earthly dimensions.
